Abstract Music Video
A trilogy of three connected music videos following a single corrupted angel across three emotional states and three worlds. Each film stands alone; watched together, they form one arc about suffering, loss, and transcendence. A second figure with black wings appears throughout, a counterpart to the angel whose meaning reveals itself across the trilogy. Part One - The Ascension. Inside a vast, imagined cathedral, the angel moves through a series of weighted, ritualistic images, fire, hooded circles, black water, a suspended marble statue, before rising out of the world entirely. The black-winged figure is left behind. Part Two — The Loss. In a fog-drenched forest, the angel is no longer alone. The two figures move through a quiet, beautiful, wrong world, dead birds, jars of fog, reflections that don't match. By the end, the angel is alone again. Part Three — Before Everything. Earliest in the emotional timeline. At a real, dying landscape of cracked salt earth and still water, both figures exist in stilled moments beneath falling meteors, surrounded by fallen bodies, hooded sentinels, and circles of horses. A portrait of who they were before any of it began. Note: The majority of the trilogy's environments and surreal elements are achieved through VFX compositing in post. Performances are shot practically with controlled lighting designed to match the worlds built around them.
