Elijah
The Young Coach (non Union Version)
About the Job
Superstar vibe. Charismatic. Able to break down every moment of a script. Good with emotional transitions. When the camera lingers on their face, the emotion is clear. I need a strong, dramatic talent. I have written many emotional spaces for this character. He wanted to be a star player himself but has found success as a coach. However the difficulties and twists will pile on. Athletic, Basketball knowledge (or a good study of the sport lol) Extras: When I sat next to an icon at a Hollywood event during the Oscars blitz, I asked him why do most actors in 2026 not want to use strategy in their career journey or perfect their craft? The Icon leaned back in his chair like we have seen him do in many movies. He then said the reason is because most actors today want instant success. Most don't want to put in the hard work it takes to SEPARATE themselves from the influx of actors who thrive in LA. He told me to never take any of it personally because the fact that I have a plan to conquer with real talent and strategy is a great thing. Most don't have a plan, they just audition. You're trying to create a superstar . Despite being mentored by greats starting with the legendary Clint Eastwood, this was one of the greatest conversations I have ever had. Maybe it is where I am in life but it gave me incredible clarity...let's go
