B.A.D. is a comedy-crime drama that takes place in mid-90s Brooklyn, New York. This coming of age story follows Shawn, Rosa, B-Roll, and Zaya as they grow up in a changing New York City and experience all the dangers that come with it. A young ragtag group of teenagers seek to reach their full potential and purposes in a blossoming period of arts, culture, and violence. Through their misadventures they explore themes of deviance, love, corruption, depression, and danger. The inherent innocence of youth is the beauty while the environment around them is deviance. BAD is set in mid 90s Brooklyn where its gritty culture shapes the cast of zany high schoolers, rebellious gangsters, chaotic politicians, soul searching activists, and fearmongering folk legends. BAD explores the many challenges of living in one of the most influential and infamous cities in the world through the lens of the youth.
