The main protagonist of the show. A charismatic, womanizing, thrill seeking, flamboyant playboy stoner. Tall and athletic build. You must look like a teenager. Shawn's appearance is Will Smith from Fresh Prince of Bel Air or Jabari Banks from Bel Air. He is a graffiti artist. Shawn has gathered a reputation throughout Flatbush and Crown Heights for his schemes and moves with girls around the way. Shawn is trapped between two worlds: civilian life and street life as his older brother Shay controls the streets of Brooklyn and soon New York with his crew. Shay has a complicated influence over his younger brother as Shay would usually bully Shawn into “being a man” and thrusting him into the vices of the world with actions that sometimes comes at the expense of Shawn’s friends and family. He is a young man who is going through a wave of depression looking for his purpose in life. He wants to provide for his mother and his younger sister while also looking to create a legacy for himself through his way. Shawn however falls into the evils of drugs, sex, gangs, and more importantly, himself, as he can have moments of self-loathing and depression due to his extensive use of weed and the pressure of his environment.
