ROLE: THE QUESTING COMPANY - ENSEMBLE PLAYER The Questing Company | Fantasy Comedy Sketch Series Sketches run 30 seconds to 3 minutes. The format is fast-paced, character-driven sketch comedy set in fantasy worlds. Think classic D&D and LARP tropes played straight, then immediately undercut with deadpan humor and absurdist twists. --- THE ROLE We are casting ensemble players for an ongoing sketch comedy series. Performers will appear in-costume, on-camera, in recurring sketches across multiple shoot days. This is a long-term, collaborative ensemble project. We are more interested in building a troupe than filling a one-day role, but are happy to meet people where they're at in terms of availability. Performers will be expected to: - Take direction and perform scripted sketch material on camera - Portray fantasy archetypes (wizards, warriors, rogues, queens, NPCs, etc.) with comedic commitment - Work within an ensemble cast across multiple productions - Wear period/fantasy costumes and perform in primarily outdoor environments --- REQUIREMENTS - Background in comedy, improv, theatre, or sketch performance - On-camera experience or demonstrated comfort performing on camera - Familiarity with fantasy genre conventions (D&D, LARP, cosplay, Ren Faire, or tabletop RPGs) - Availability for recurring shoot dates (ongoing project) - No prior film/TV credits required
