About the Job

An exciting new documentary from Award winning director Thomas Beug! https://www.thomasbeug.com We are looking for a 6–12 year-old piano whizz kid(male or female, any ethnicity) for a feature documentary about pianos and the people whose lives revolve around them. The ideal child is already showing serious talent and dedication at the keyboard—someone who practices a lot, dreams of becoming a virtuoso, and can already do genuinely impressive things on the keys. Confident at the instrument, comfortable performing, and clearly passionate about the piano. We’re also interested in families where the parents are deeply invested in their child’s musical journey—the early mornings, the practice routines, the lessons, the recitals. Think up at 6am to play scales kind of energy. The film will follow a small moment in the life of a young pianist on their path—practice, preparation, and possibly a performance or recital. As well as a chat with the child and parents. If interested please email: 88pianosdoc@gmail.com
