A sharp, independent young woman who has recently moved into a new apartment, hoping for a fresh start. Smart, observant, and a little sarcastic, Amanda masks anxiety with humor and determination. Over the course of the story, her confidence gradually gives way to paranoia as she begins noticing something unsettling in her apartment bathroom, all while the pressures of a new, potentially manipulative relationship weigh on her. The role requires an actor capable of carrying long scenes alone and conveying escalating psychological tension with subtle facial and emotional shifts. Theater experience is a strong plus! Because of the shooting style, multiple scenes may be filmed in a single day, and actors will be expected to memorize a significant amount of dialogue.
