Larry is overly curious, mildly intrusive, and completely unaware of how obvious he is. He peers over the fence, asks pointed questions, and clearly enjoys stirring suspicion — but he does it with suburban politeness rather than villain energy. His tone should feel casual but loaded, like he’s trying to “just make conversation” while fishing for gossip. The comedy comes from his persistence and the awkward pauses he creates. Once he learns it was Randy handling a legitimate home emergency, his energy should shift quickly from suspicion to interest — even a little admiration. He’s not malicious, just nosy — and ultimately impressed.
