Synopsis:
Audition is a short film by BAFTA nominated casting director and filmmaker Geraldine Barón. The film follows a casting director as she navigates film auditions for a new movie while interviewing prospective sperm donors as she considers having a baby by herself. Blurring the lines between documentary and narrative, the film examines themes of storytelling, modern family making, performance and identity.
