Strange doctor who gives mysterious pills to patient (magic realism world). Tonally bizarre. .12. INT. INSIDE EXAM ROOM-DAY A bandaid-ed hand appears. Another hand places another bandaid on top of the other band-aid. SHOTS of the DOCTOR's face annoyed. The doctor writes on his clipboard. Bernardo begins to focus on a hand of the medical skeleton (with sunglasses) in the room and the SHOT begins to slowly zoom in on it. BERNARDO Am I going to die? DOCTOR (clearing his throat) I’m afraid so. Red fish. BERNARDO (alarmed) What? DOCTOR (pointing to the fish) We’re all going to die at some point. Goldfish is "poisson rouge" in French, did you know? They see it as "red." BERNARDO (notices his clipboard, perplexed, mad) Are you-are you doing a crossword puzzle? A white noise (fluorescent bulb) begins to amplify. DOCTOR Here, (tossing a pill bottle) To keep your nerves down until you drop the final anchor.. The doctor tosses a pill bottle to Bernardo and exits the room. FLUORESCENT BULB SOUND gets louder. ANGLE SHOT FROM SKELETON HAND. In quick chaotic movements, with the fishbowl in one arm, Bernardo rips the skeleton hand from the medical skeleton and drops it in his briefcase, rushing out of the room.
