About the Job
Alice, a 16 mixed Afro-Latina, was adopted by well-meaning but culturally ignorant Mormon White parents in Utah. Growing up, she faced the challenge of reconciling her own cultural heritage with her
adopted family’s unwillingness to explore it. She longs for a deeper connection to her roots and her true identity.
Alice is on the streets of Los Angeles trying to meet with her birth mother. She hopes it will provide her with the love, understanding, and cultural connection that she’s been missing. She’s on a journey
of self-discovery. Trying to understand her own identity, culture, and spirituality beyond the confines of her adopted family’s Christian beliefs. - Works 10 days - MUST BE LA LOCAL
