Walt Disney World Accessibility Project
The purpose of this production is to showcase the Transfer Access capabilities for a variety of attractions at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Parks. We wish to cast talent that authentically uses and relies on a wheelchair, and ambulatory talent to act as their companion. Key Considerations • Talent in wheelchair should be able to transfer themselves from wheelchair to vehicle with provided attraction transfer tools and services without assistance from a companion • Seeking gender, body type, culture, ethnicity, age diversity • Talent should be actors instead of print models as we will be prioritizing motion capture (not a speaking role) • Talent should be comfortable riding multiple attractions in one day (not prone to motion sickness or easily fatigued) • Call times will likely vary with late nights and/or early mornings • Casting will be done in pairs, including a person using a wheelchair and an ambulatory companion
