VELVET CUT is a stylish neo-noir crime thriller set over the course of one tense night. Three women gather in a rundown apartment to divide the proceeds from a successful heist. Instead of splitting the money evenly, they agree to settle things with a winner-take-all poker game. As old rivalries, hidden agendas, and buried betrayals begin to surface, each woman reveals that she came prepared with her own secret advantage. What begins as a simple card game quickly spirals into a deadly contest of deception, survival, and double-crosses where trust is the rarest commodity in the room. Combining elements of classic film noir with modern crime thrillers, Velvet Cut is a contained, dialogue-driven story featuring three strong female leads, dark humor, escalating suspense, and an unpredictable ending.
