A 75-year-old retiree and his dog escape LA for a peaceful mountain retreat, but their quest for silence turns into a winter survival ordeal complete with snowplow warfare and dwindling supplies. Narrated through Star Trek-style captain's logs, this comedic short follows their snow-besieged misadventure and eventual retreat back to civilization.
