A Black musician meets his longtime-girlfriend's traditional Cameroonian family for the first time through a cultural ceremony seeking their blessing for their engagement. As he haplessly stumbles to gain their approval, and their families clash, they must decide: does their love transcend tradition & culture?

Cousin Jojo is that one weird cousin with youthful/playful energy that we all have. Off-beat and goofy, he’s the comedic relief- often saying the wrong things or interjecting his thoughts at inappropriate times. He believes Wakanda is a real place. Malcolm's cousin.
