“The Weight of Us” explores the emotional terrain of three Black Men—74-year-old Papa Justice, 52-year-old EJ and 30-year-old Zeke, who are gathered in a hospital room where prohibited alcohol flows, truths unravel and raw confessionals ignite riveting verbal exchanges from their unique generational perspectives. In the process, they are forced to examine how trauma, abandonment and societal pressures have shaped their identity. The ebb and flow of the rhythmic dialogue invites audiences into a space where self-introspection is revolutionary.
