The Waiting Room
Project Details
The Waiting Room is a short film about a young man with a fervent imagination who escapes stifling corporate culture by discovering a portal to another world. Our protagonist Guy, is a creative who is consumed by doodling, fantasies, and creating his own comic strips. Our story starts with Guy feeling pressure from his landlord because he is behind on rent. After his attempt to bribe his landlord with art fails, he goes to his first job interview where he encounters a cold reception. Guy feels distinctly out of place until he meets a kindred spirit in the form of Tiff. They establish immediate camaraderie, finding connection in their sense of humor, offbeat personalities, and freedom of expression.
