Writer/Director Notes This short film is phase one of a multi-part plan to bring the story of the Houston Mass Murders to life. Dean Corll was considered one of the worst serial killers in the U.S. Once this project is complete, it’ll be sent to prestigious film festivals around the world and serve as a grand showcase of the Talents from everyone involved. The film itself will serve as a 10-minute proof of concept for a limited series being developed that covers the entire story. Your Talent as actors is what will make any of this possible. If we all do our jobs well, this project has the potential to go very far. Synopsis Trapped in an unending cycle of violence, Wayne finds himself ensnared in the world of vicious serial killer, Dean Corll. Tasked with bringing him more and more young victims, Wayne’s psyche is shattered. He sees no way out. Haunted by the faces of the people he’s helped kill, Wayne drinks day after day to numb himself to his feelings. His relationships with the people around him deteriorate as he slips further and further into darkness. Ultimately, he travels to a party and lures an unsuspecting boy back to Dean’s house where he aids in his brutal murder.
