Disaster Girl is a character-driven dramedy about Nell, a chaotic, big-hearted outsider who reinvents herself to survive the cutthroat world of acting. Inspired by her working-class upbringing and a lifelong streak of misfortune, Nell creates “Disaster Girl,” an fearless alter ego who breaks every rule on her way from Berlin to Hollywood. What begins as a desperate stunt becomes a journey of self-empowerment, fractured friendship, and the messy, hilarious pursuit of a dream. Blending absurd real-world episodes, punk energy, and emotional sincerity, Disaster Girl celebrates anyone who doesn’t fit the mold and insists on writing their own destiny.
