Kinga appears to have the perfect suburban life — a nice house, a stable marriage, and a smart daughter. Beneath the surface, however, she feels increasingly disconnected from her family and trapped by her mother's emotional manipulation. When alarming physical symptoms — heart palpitations, insomnia, and blood pressure spikes — begin, Kinga discovers they stem from perimenopause. As she fights for proper treatment and searches for relief, Kinga embarks on a humorous and heartfelt journey of self-reinvention. She reconnects with her Hungarian roots, sets long-overdue boundaries with her mother, rekindles her marriage, reconnects with her daughter, and ultimately creates a space for other women to break the silence around menopause. This intimate dramedy explores aging, identity, motherhood, and female resilience with honesty, warmth, and surprising humor.
