Synopsis:

Vision: For me, this angle of storytelling is one of the biggest goals on my to do list. Its a story that has sat with me for years. I have encountered plenty of sports stories in my life whether on TV or film, but I have never viewed a story structured or told in this manner. A high gloss, pop drama centered around a mixed race, black male character. That alone is a foundation for many captivating plots. So many angles to tell in the form of a series. When Limited Series became a thing a little before covid then blew up in the midst of the pandemic, I understood that a platform as such would be the perfect foundation for a powerful, contained story on this matter. Lead Character: The fact that the lead is mixed with black and white (or any black based race mixture) gives me a canvas like the great painters of yesteryear. There are so many original angles of story telling from that viewpoint that I have never seen told on the big or small screen. This is a story where you can take a charismatic lead...a future superstar...and create magic. I stand by the fact that performance, cinematic looks (which could range from good looking or just captivating to look at on camera), good story and a mentor are key elements in creating a great superstar. Especially in this era. Finding a Rare Superstar in the 2020s: When Spielberg mentioned a few years back that the era of the Superstar was over, I believe I understood what he meant immediately. Where actors were on contract with studios back in the day and placed into project after project back in the golden era or Hollywood..today it is hugely different. Now it is about branding, how many followers you have, content creating, verticals and social media. However Ryan Coogler saw past all of todays MUSH and found the perfect actor to deliver his vision in old Hollywood style..and deliver it they did: Cinema records shattered. Glass ceilings obliterated. An historic, original Oscar dominating film and billion Dollar trails... I met a few actors over the years that I thought maybe I wanted to invest vision into. I hold the three key elements in creating a global superstar: TFT. TFT stands for Time, Financing and Talent. Time -A protegee needs a mentor who has time to strategize their career. I just did a casting notice and had nearly 300 actors submit in only a few hours. How does an actor separate themselves from the many actors that are chasing the dream? Well thats where having a visionary with time comes in handy. No rushing, just in the lab trying to find that unique voice then using it as an original release to the public. Financing – Another key element in creating global superstar. An actor would want a mentor that is not moving through this industry with desperation as their gas . 'I have to do this to pay rent'. An actor wants a mentor who is focused on the art and not the bills. That's me. I have worked hard to be in a cool, mellow position in this arena. I move due to the art inspiring me and little else. Talent - I created my first huge show in 1996 when I was little kid. That same night I was offered a deal with a major production studio. I did a show In 2024 and some audience members who WERE NOT my family came to the show. These people were there at my first show in 1996. Nearly 30 years/ I think that means I have at least a little talent no? :) Actors send me notes often indicating they like the writing and vision. Regardless all these elements will go into place in creating a global superstar...where are you? I want you to see the pilot script and tell me what you think...

A few people assume that because I have been yelling about actor/duo collaborations for a while that this is all I am focused on. On the contrary..until I find that superstar, I keep my plate busy. Recently filmed several projects in LA and San Diego. Have a huge show coming up in a couple of months. Traveling out of state to film another project. Submitted a series Bible to a production company for a project I wrote for three actors entitled SEEDS and more and more.... Until I find that superstar actor, I am plowing through work. This is a casting platform so of course my projects will be littered with my ultimate Vision..... Go for your dreams, life is short
