Thaw
Project Details
THAW is set in a nearly abandoned village on the edge of a war zone, in the last days of winter. Ilja and Marjana, a young couple expecting their first child, are getting ready to flee — but the baby arrives first, on a night lit only by phone torches, in the middle of a blackout. What follows is an intimate story of love, language, and fragile joy, set against a war that keeps closing in. THAW is a drama short film, exploring how ordinary people build a life and a family in the middle of something none of them chose.
