Synopsis
Sing the Roof Off is the break built for one unsigned female singer. This month she records at Platinum Sound in New York, the room behind sessions for Whitney Houston, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj, and more. The show commands for a voice that is memorable on first listen and strong enough to carry a real studio take and the film around it. History does not repeat. It records.
Additional Information:
Gemini Lake, a culture, capital, and brand with work across Universal, Def Jam, Motown, Interscope, iHeartRadio, the BET Awards, and the MTV VMAs, presents the project. The session is engineered by Rene Desrivieres, “Dez Buddha,” a Brooklyn-born recording, mixing, and Dolby Atmos engineer at Platinum Sound since 2015, with credits including Wyclef Jean, Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, French Montana, and Miguel.
Platinum Sound, New york City, is the recording facility for this production only and is not a partner, co- presenter, or sponsor. It was co- founded by Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis and Wyclef Jean.
