Project Details
The Pool of Bethesda is a cinematic, spoken-word retelling of the biblical story of the man who waited thirty-eight years beside the Pool of Bethesda. Told through the perspectives of people living at the pool, the film explores despair, isolation, faith, and the possibility of healing. When Jesus arrives and heals the man known only as “38,” the miracle transforms not only his body, but the emotional world of everyone who witnesses it.
