Vision: Working with a production company. I am pitching 5 projects to them over the next 6 month in an unofficial 'First Look' kind of way. This is a celebratory milestone year for me as a creator and I am going to work myself into happiness. With the second season of college sweeping through America, I am sometimes asked to do zoom or in person interviews at schools about my journey. At the top of the list lately have been questions about the Actor/Director duos rising visible profile in Hollywood. Most people know I have been yelling it since the 2000s. However the dominating nature or Ryan Coogler and Michael Joirdan has some film school teachers teaching that work combination in their curriculum. I'll never say I told you so :) Parting Notes: Look at the Youtube video called Ryan Coogler presents Michael B. Jordan with the American Cinematheque Award. This is essential viewing because it clearly paints the picture of how two men met and knew in an instant that they were meant to unite in the name of billion dollar generating, A-list success.. Ryan knew that Michael B was a superstar. He told him that at the first meeting. Michael told Ryan he wanted to be the first on the call sheet. Ryan didn't even know what that meant which is proof that you don't have to have a billion credits or videos lighting up social media to do Hollywood damage. The two of them had an instant connection. No games. No outside influences... just two dudes who aimed at A-list perfection. Not only did they achieve it, they are sitting at the top of it.
