A fun, rebellious, retro-summer fever dream in the spirit of Wet Hot American Summer. When a young rebel gets stuck working the same day his favorite band comes to town, he tries to keep it together — until their song comes blasting through the radio. Suddenly, clocking in feels impossible. Whatever the consequences, he has to make it to the show. He closes early and races across town, only to find the venue completely sold out. Just when all hope seems lost, he locks eyes with a bold, mischievous girl who catches him trying to sneak in. Instead of turning him in, she decides to help. One pulled switch later, the power cuts, the lights go dark, and they slip inside. What follows is the best summer night of their lives — wild music, reckless joy, strange magic, and the kind of freedom seldom experienced by normal folk. By morning, they wake up under a canoe, unsure if it all really happened or if it was just the greatest dream they ever had. Tone: playful, nostalgic, rebellious, romantic, surreal, high-energy. Vibe: retro camp chaos, summer romance, dive-bar magic, and feel-good rock & roll.
