Synopsis:

POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE is a coming-of-age story about a rebellious teen from the affluent suburbs who spends a transformative summer in the South Bronx chasing hip-hop fame and street credibility as an underground music producer. However, a job at his aunt's flower shop forces him to confront his privilege and misconceptions, reshaping his perspective as he encounters the beauty, grit, and humanity of the community around him.
