Synopsis:

Set in 1960, Ozzie Freedman questions and challenges dogmatic religious views leading to a dramatic and public standoff. Based on the short story, “The Conversion of the Jews” from Philip Roth’s Goodbye, Columbus, which won the National Book Award.
