My Royal Bodyguard is My Secret Prince is a vertical romantic drama set at UCLA, following Princess Alexandra of Valmont (18), who secretly enrolls as "Alex Sheridan" to experience one year of normal college life after negotiating a deal with her grandfather, King Henry. Blake Sharp, a former Secret Service agent reassigned to protect the Princess undercover, enrolls as a fellow student. What begins as a protective mission evolves into genuine connection as Blake—meant to stay invisible—keeps crossing Alex's path: saving her from a speeding scooter, tutoring her in math, watching over her at parties. Alex begins to fall for the man she believes is just a fellow student, unaware he is her secret bodyguard. When Blake's true identity is revealed, Alex feels betrayed and pushes him away—only to find herself drawn into the orbit of the manipulative Justin Banks and the scheming sorority president Claire Blackwood. As Claire and Justin conspire against her, Blake fights to protect Alex even after being fired by the King. The series escalates from romantic comedy to high-stakes thriller, culminating in a kidnapping orchestrated by the obsessed Professor Heller, a dramatic rescue, and the King's ultimate blessing on Alex and Blake's relationship. The series ends with Princess Alexandra's coronation as Queen—with Blake by her side as the man she has chosen—ruling Valmont not by duty alone, but by love.
