Unfazed (Marijuana) Teens view cannabis as no big deal, but what they don't know is that repeated use in their teen years alters the development of their brain. Unfazed is a statewide campaign to educate Virginia teens, aged 13-18, on the risks and how frequent use can impact multiple parts of the brain, leading to issues with memory, motivation, mental performance, and coordination. “Stays With You" is a way to show teens that the negative effects of weed can stay with them long after the high is gone. These 3 videos and campaign demonstrate the long lasting impact of weed on the teen brain, with an emphasis on memory, focus, and the ability to multitask. BTH (Vaping) Teens think vaping and socially vaping won’t affect them, but they don’t always realize how fast it can impact their emotions, lungs, and become addicted. Behind the Haze is a statewide campaign to educate Virginia teens, aged 13-18, on the risks and science of vaping. “Takes Over” is a way to show teens that the effects of nicotine can take over their health and life. In these 6 videos and 6 radio spots, our characters will help each other realize all the ways vaping affects their emotions, lungs, and brain AND how quitting can give them back that control.
