A rock band is forced to perform at gunpoint in a surreal, satirical hostage scenario where patriotism, spectacle, addiction, and control all collide. The video uses heightened, tongue-in-cheek imagery to explore the feeling of being trapped by destructive forces, and the fight to break free, reclaim yourself, and find a new way forward. The tone is bold, cinematic, darkly funny, and intentionally stylized. The roles are theatrical, strange, and symbolic, with the performers functioning as part of the video’s larger satirical visual language.
