Homeless Teen Saves Billionaire
The story follows an encounter between two vastly different individuals outside a corporate office building: The Initial Conflict: Richard Harmon, a wealthy and arrogant CEO, dismisses Marcus, a 16-year-old homeless boy sitting outside his building. Richard lectures Marcus on hard work, telling him to stop "begging" and get a job, despite Marcus explaining the difficulties of finding work without an address. The Inciting Incident: Shortly after Richard walks away, he is cornered by a mugger with a knife. While Richard freezes in fear, Marcus intervenes. The Martial Arts Display: Using "muscle memory" and precise techniques taught to him by his late father, Marcus disarms and subdues the mugger in approximately four seconds. He holds the attacker until the police are signaled. The Moral Stand: A humbled Richard offers Marcus all the cash in his wallet ($400) and a high-paying job out of gratitude. Marcus refuses the job, stating he wants to earn a position based on his merits rather than through someone’s guilt. He also initially refuses the money, ultimately accepting only $40 for a meal and a bus pass.
