Home Care Documentary
"The Weight of Care" is a documentary project exploring the unspoken physical language of caregiving in the modern age. We are seeking individuals to participate in a series of choreographed and improvised caregiving scenarios—ranging from mobility assistance to delicate daily tasks. Unlike traditional films, this project focuses on the "micro-mechanics" of human touch and support. We aim to document the physical strength, precision, and empathy required in caretaking to better understand how humans support one another. This is a "contact-heavy" production; performers will be required to physically interact, lift, and steady one another in a controlled, respectful environment.
