Set in near-future Los Angeles, Hollow Man follows Javier Reyes, a jaded Mexican American drone surveillance operator who spends his nights watching the city from behind a screen, drinking to dull the unresolved pain of his late father, Aurelio- a stern rancher who raised him with an unforgiving hand. Javier’s partner, Alex, urges him to confront his past, but Javier refuses to engage with the grief that shadows him. When Javier begins seeing visions of La Lechuza, a shapeshifting witch from Mexican folklore, his waking life unravels. Haunted by guilt and generational trauma, Javier must descend into his own psyche to uncover the darkness binding him to Aurelio. To break the cycle, Javier must confront La Lechuza, reconcile with his father's spirit and face the man he has become.
