Heretic
Los Angeles
Project Details
A mad king lives in decadent isolation while his kingdom starves. Three women—servants, subjects, and witnesses—quietly conspire against him. What begins as stolen keys, exchanged glances, and small acts of defiance grows into a collective uprising. His symbols of power are stripped away until the King is simply irrelevant. Inspired by feminine mythology, ritual, and theatrical fairytale worlds, HERETIC is a beautiful, dangerous, surreal uprising of fire, movement, and collective defiance. The film will feel like a forgotten fairytale brought to life: beautiful, dangerous, romantic, and slightly surreal. This is not simply the story of a king losing his throne. It is the story of three women realizing that the throne—and the world surrounding it—only holds power because everyone has agreed to kneel.
