CURRENT is a live-action coming-of-age dramedy with a subtle sci-fi twist. It follows Aurora, an emotionally unfiltered tween alien who crash-lands at a celebrity charity event and is unexpectedly pulled into the orbit of Fatima, a burned-out pop star on the brink. As Aurora’s heightened intuition begins to register like a superpower, the series explores fame, motherhood, and radical emotional honesty through the eyes of a child who hasn’t yet learned how to perform, filter, or pretend.
