Who we are looking for: Key audience will be the Indian and Chinese markets, as this new product launches in both countries. Therefore, we are looking to cast individuals who appear to be of Indian (India) and Chinese origin. We are looking for all gender identities, and age ranges (appearing 18–50 years old; no minors please). Auditions/headshots: We would like to get self-taped auditions and headshots from interested parties. Self-taped audition instructions: - Please have talent slate their names and appear full body (head to toe) at least once in the video submission (this doesn't necessarily have to be for the full audition). We will see the talent from head to toe on shoot day and may be directed to take a few steps in the frame for a particular use case or scene. - Given the usual need for closeups of hands on devices, please have talent show their hands. Come shoot day, the client will not want to see any visible tattoos or painted manicures. If talent has tattoos on their arms, legs, or anywhere that can potentially be seen, please just let us know. It doesn't exclude them, but we'll need to account for this in the wardrobe should they be cast. Actions for self-tapes: - Talent is chatting with a friend via video chat on their cell phone. No sound will be used in our video, but if they want to talk for the audition, great. It should be an upbeat conversation, perhaps with a friend they haven't connected with for a long while, but one that they are very happy to catch up with. As part of the action, perhaps we should see them answer the call, have a short convo, and then say goodbye and hang up. It's okay to use a bag/purse as a prop, or to grab a smartphone from a pocket. - Talent gaming on a smartphone. Phone should be in landscape orientation. The games we will use for the video cut will not be a driving game (as is usual). Instead they want to show a first-person adventure game or a Candy Crush-esque game. So, the action doesn't need to be fast-paced with a lot of controller-like movement. Probably a game that's more of a point-and-click type of game. Outside of that direction, the talent's direction would be to look relaxed, engaged, and enjoying the game.
