Cat Enright And The Opium Equation
Cat Enright and the Opium Equation is a character-driven mystery about chosen family set in the world of Tennessee Walking Horse country. The murder investigation at the center of the story hinges on the relationship between our protagonist, Cat Enright — an independent horse trainer — and Bubba Henley, the troubled young boy whose disappearance helps set the mystery in motion. Surrounding them is a colorful and unconventional community of riders, neighbors, musicians, and small-town personalities who ultimately become part of Cat’s search for the truth. Even the horses play a role — especially Sally Blue, a striking red roan Appaloosa who may possess an uncanny, almost psychic ability to sense more than anyone realizes. Casting primarily actors local to Kentucky and the Nashville region. Los Angeles actors are encouraged to submit only for the roles of Cat Enright and Bubba Henley.
