Casting: People With Pica / Unusual Cravings
Do you experience strong urges to eat items that are not considered food—such as chalk, dirt, paper, ice, soap, metal, clay, or other non-edible substances? A major television network is currently developing a documentary series exploring people who live with unusual cravings or compulsions, including PICA, and how these behaviors impact daily life, relationships, and health. This is a thoughtful, respectful project focused on real stories, personal journeys, and understanding—not judgment. We are seeking individuals in the U.S. who: • Have been diagnosed with PICA or strongly identify with the behavior • Regularly consume non-food items • Are open to sharing their experience on camera Whether this has been part of your life for years or something more recent, we’d love to hear from you. If interested, please reply or message with: • Name • Age • City/State • Phone & email • Brief description of what you consume and how long this has been part of your life All inquiries are confidential.
