Hey! I wanted to reach out about a documentary casting concept I’ve been developing. The project explores how different actors can interpret the exact same written prompt in completely different ways. Each participant will receive a short fictional paragraph and be invited to improvise a self-tape based on it. The finished documentary will compare the performances to show how one prompt can lead to 100 unique interpretations, highlighting creativity, perspective, and individuality. I’m currently looking for around 100 boys ages 7–17 to participate remotely. Self-tapes can be filmed at home using a phone, and parents are welcome to review the prompt beforehand.
