Synopsis:

Break Left is a character-driven short exploring queer love, family tension, and emotional inheritance. The story follows Nia Price, a college basketball recruit navigating family dynamics, as she reconnects with her free-spirited childhood crush, Law Gordon. Emotional truth, relational presence, and chemistry matter more than appearance or traditional norms.

By submitting, performers confirm availability for all phases listed above. Casting Inclusivity Notes: Roles of Nia Price and Law (Lawrencia) Gordon are open to AFAB performers of any gender identity or expression. All performers must be comfortable with: Portraying queer intimacy under the guidance of a licensed intimacy coordinator Simulating nightlife/bar environments, including prop alcohol use (no actual drinking required)
