On the eve of a mysterious 6 a.m. appointment that could change her future forever, seventeen-year-old Emma Monroe is forced into a late-night grocery store run with the estranged father she barely trusts. As their tense conversation reveals secrets about Emma's dangerous predicament, an ordinary trip down the aisles spirals into a violent confrontation with a stranger determined to steal the evidence on Emma's phone. Trapped between family trauma and a deadly conspiracy, Emma discovers that the truth she's been carrying is worth killing for—and that her father may be the only person capable of keeping her alive.
