Adventurer W/ A Korean Accent - San Francisco

Filmed in a cinematic, immersive documentary style, the story follows a single international traveler from South Korea as they discover the people, places, and innovations that helped transform a pair of work pants (Levi's) into a global cultural icon. Production will take place throughout San Francisco, California, capturing the city’s history, creativity, craftsmanship, and enduring influence on American culture. This role is written as a global traveler experiencing San Francisco through fresh eyes. We are seeking a compelling on-camera host who is naturally curious, emotionally present, and genuinely interested in uncovering the stories behind one of America’s most influential cities. This is not a traditional presenter role. Rather than delivering information as an expert, the host should feel like an intelligent traveler exploring San Francisco in real time, discovering its neighborhoods, history, innovation, landmarks, and the people whose work and traditions continue to shape its identity. The Ideal Candidate: * Possesses genuine curiosity about history, culture, craftsmanship, innovation, and the people behind iconic American brands. * Is globally minded, culturally curious, and eager to engage with people from all walks of life. * Has a warm, authentic, and engaging on-camera presence. * Feels believable as someone experiencing San Francisco for the first time, allowing the audience to discover the city alongside them. * Is comfortable asking thoughtful questions, listening attentively, and reacting naturally rather than presenting as an expert. * Appreciates history, architecture, art, design, food, and local culture, approaching each with curiosity and respect. * Is charismatic without feeling performative, creating the sense of a thoughtful traveler immersed in the journey. Throughout filming, the host will engage with historians, preservationists, artisans, entrepreneurs, innovators, small business owners, and everyday locals, moving seamlessly between intimate conversations and large-scale cinematic experiences. Requirements: * Must speak fluent English with an authentic, identifiable foreign accent (the role is written as an international traveler from South Korea). * Must be comfortable with the following activities/locations - Levi’s Vault and flagship store, Cable Cars, Ferry Building, Golden Gate Park, Haight-Ashbury * Must be confident walking, exploring, and filming throughout San Francisco in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. * Previous hosting or on-camera experience is preferred, but authentic personality, curiosity, and presence are the highest priority. We’re looking for someone whose curiosity feels genuine, whose reactions are authentic, and whose sense of discovery invites audiences around the world to experience San Francisco through fresh eyes.
