About the Job
REAL FAMILIES ONLY. No acting experience needed. Not casting in California. Did you find help for an aging parent or loved one, maybe for the first time and without a roadmap? You had to figure out what kind of help was right (companionship, respite, in-home, or specialized care), find someone nearby and affordable, and make decisions for the person who once took care of you. We'd especially love to hear from you if: - Your situation was out of the ordinary, like caring for a parent from the road or around a demanding schedule. - You or your loved one is a big personality. - Care.com left you confident your loved one was in good hands. If your loved one has since passed away, your story is still welcome. You must have found and hired your caregiver through Care.com. You do not need an active Care.com account today. We are casting outside California only. Your loved one and your caregiver are welcome on camera too if they'd like to be (not required). Filming is 1 day the week of November 9, at your home or remote. Pay: $2,000 per person interviewed on camera ($500 session + $1,500 usage). $750 per person for family members in b-roll, adults and kids. All media in perpetuity.
