About the Job
GRANDMOTHER, Character is a white female, 50s–60s, MUST AUTHENTICALLY PLAY 60+. Blunt, practical, tough and fiercely protective of her terminally ill granddaughter, LILY. GRANDMOTHER is a lived-in, no-nonsense woman who has been helping care for Lily while also holding her troubled son accountable. There is warmth underneath her hard exterior, but she is not remotely fragile. When danger enters the house, she immediately fights back. The role includes light physical action involving prop weapons and a brief physical struggle. Prior firearms, weapons or stage-combat experience is a plus, but not required. PLEASE NOTE ANY RELEVANT FIREARMS / WEAPONS / FIGHT TRAINING (IF ANY). TALENT MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH LIGHT PHYSICAL ACTION. SUPPORTING.
