Señora Vela is Jesús’s mom, and the mom we all wish we had. She’s kind, funny, and she really loves Jesus. And hey, she’ll be your mom too—just swing by for dinner. She’s always cooking something and everyone is welcome (except zombies). While she wasn’t initially as supportive of Jesús’s gayness as she could have been, she’s since some around and she loves him more than anything in the world.
