About the Job
Appears in: Archival imagery and reflections in VR Vance’s younger son, and the person the Hacker impersonates inside Vance’s consciousness. As a teenager he learned the truth about how his mother died, and it broke him. He worked alongside his father and brother for a while, then vanished. Vance’s clear favorite over Victor but never reciprocated the affection in the wake of his mother’s death. Liam has no dialogue. He appears only occasionally: in archival photos and footage, and as the reflection looking back at the player once they have taken his place in VR. The role asks for an expressive, lived-in face that can hold a story in a single frame. Required skills: Naturalistic acting, comfortable with stoicism
