About the Job

Korean-appearing. Imperfect English. John is a young, selfless graduate ready to take on the next chapter of his life by studying medicine to become a veterinarian and aid the small and helpless. John arrived in America from South Korea 3 years ago. Upon arriving, he was diagnosed with HCM, a serious chronic heart condition that shortens his breath and makes him nauseous intermittently. He has a close relationship with his sister, Jenny, who takes care of every medical need John has. Throughout his time in America, he made a strong group of friends consisting of Bruno, Lawrence, and Mark. Bruno, specifically, became his closest confidant as they both relate to each other through their chronic illnesses. John, being the altruistic and selfless person he is, has informed himself of Bruno’s condition and has always sought to ease Bruno’s pain, despite Bruno not reciprocating that attitude. John is still practicing his English pronunciation.
