Jacob’s best friend and the natural ringleader. Fast-talking, endlessly optimistic and almost impossible not to follow, Marvin gets many of the movie’s most quotable lines. He's a born charmer: confident, ambitious, socially fearless and always convinced he can turn something small into something bigger. He has dreams of making it in music and the hustler/promoter instincts to potentially pull it off... his problem is that his confidence regularly outruns his judgment. He’ll manipulate Jacob when he thinks it’s for Jacob’s own good, but when things turn genuinely dangerous, his loyalty is never in question.
