About the Job
The hero (noted as Friend 1 in the scripts) needs to have a naturally funny "resting question face." He's a relatable regular person you could imagine having a car buying conversation mid-pancake or while shopping in the gardening center.... A believable person whose face makes us laugh while he processes something he doesn't understand. He is not stupid, just needs to play genuine uncertainty, with strong comedic timing. Reacts to inanimate objects talking to him. Distinctive, but relatively normal looking dude who happens to be funny.
